WDWorld OUR FIRST DAY!

Walt disney world dec 2008 round 2

Questions for the front desk, or it is Brett trying to set up a wake up call.

It was a Question about swimming.
Brett had to go swimming the first night in Florida.
The pool is in the shape of a piano. This was the closest pool to our room.
Brett swam in it almost every day. There was a larger pool in the shape
of a guitar. It was near the front lobby.

The water was about 75 degrees.

The tempature outside the pool was maybe 45 or 48. Brett swam for about 45 minutes, and Karalee sat on the pool chairs.

Back at the room.

Florida a Practice Run

I can really breath useing the snorkle. Snorkle good to go.

Small goggles, I can see with them on. Goggles good to go.

Snorkleing mask fits perfectly, no water will get in. Mask good to go.

Now I just need some water to practice in before we go to Florida.
Later this night Karalee left the room and when she came back I was under the covers with the goggles, mask, and snorkle all on. She pulled the blanket off of me and asked what I was doing. I told her I was practiceing for Florida. I think we are almost there.

Karalee had to take these photos. Good to go!

Sunday October 19, 2008
One day after completetion.

See it's all done.

Karalee took this on her B-Day . The work is all done.

THE END to the BEGINNING

Hose down the gravel so it can settle....
..... watch it settle Brett.
It took a village to help Brett , dig dirt, laydown weed barrer, put in sand, lay flagstone, level flagstone, sweep in gravel, and hose it down. Apelu, Nick, Alexis, Tiffany, Leroy, Jim, Jyoce, Steve M., Karalee, Brett, and brought to you by Karen T. Ostler.
Just about done, got to get them level....

.... sweep away the sand (yes those are abalone shells on the lawn,

they were buried, and we found them while we were removeing

the dirt.) .....

OH, Yeah. We need gravel between the flagstone.
How do these fit together ?
I think I've got one.

Time to remove dirt.....

Aren't the mountains beautiful covered with snow....

The patio construction.....

Brett finally resting from all the digging....
Karalee's first load of dirt......
The rock to be put in the patio is stacked behind Brett
along with a big pile of gravel. Brett and his friends
will finally start installing the stone on October 18th.
It has been rainy and snowy the last two weekends so
he's hoping to finish this project this weekend before
winter comes back.......

Steve's Birthday

Is the party over or just beginning?

Making funny faces for the camera.....
This is after Allie and Aubrie's birthday party.

The kids came outside to ride the bikes, scooters,

big wheels and get a ride in the wagon.

Our New Stone pathway

Here's a shot of our stone pathway. Brett and his
