Random quote

"Disappointments should be cremated, not embalmed."~ Henry S. Haskings

I found this quote on a blog I read and I think it is so true.
Just wanted to remember it.  Karalee

Random pics....April 2010

This was taken from the Oquirrh Mtn Temple parking lot.
If you squint you can see the Draper temple towards the left of the picture...
Oquirrh Mtn Temple.  I still haven't taken that perfect shot yet.
I will just keep trying.  It's a beautiful and peaceful place...

Here's the first 50 to 100 things that I got rid of....
The boxes are full of shoes, clothes and old toys...
I need to take some time to do this again....
It sure felt good.

Celebrating Who I Am in 2010....My scrapbook all about me....

Sorry these took so long to post..
Dad I hope you like them...
I am so grateful that Mom and Dad took
my hand print and foot print.....
Oh What a beautiful baby....
I still have a ton of hair....
I took these dates from my baby book then I cut it up
and I am going to through it away.
I hope Mom doesn't yell at me when I get to heaven.
Oh well, what's done is done....
I wish someone had recorded down
what was said in my blessing.
The only thing I remember mom telling me was
that my blessing said  that I would have lots of trials
and hard things to help me grow..
And since she's gone and can't confirm it,
that's my story and I am sticking to it....

I love this page with all cut out pictures of me....
You can see all my different smiles...
Where did all my blond hair go....
I was a beautiful baby....
I love the curls and I have beautiful eyes....

I have a lot still to do on the book all about me...
I am grateful for this year to

Celebrate
Who I AM.....

Celebrating Spring April 17, 2010

I dedicate this blog to Jan.
She inspired me to get out of the house and go enjoy the sunshine.
Brett and I went to the Jordan River Temple grounds to find these beautiful flowers.
We parked by the distribution center and I started taking pictures.
I actually layed down on the cement to get some of these shots.
I am sure the customers thought I was strange but it was just me, the flowers and my camera.

I felt rejuvenated.  I felt alive.  I felt grateful for all of our Heavenly Fathers beautiful creations.
Each flower is different and unique.  We are blessed to be surrounded by such beauty in our world.
I love Spring flowers.

I couldn't pick a favorite so I just put a sampling of the pictures I took.
I hope you enjoy.

Love, Karalee

Easter was a fun day...
We met at noon for lunch... sandwiches, pototoe salad, veggies and chips with lemonade to drink.
Laralynn made this yummy dessert with brownie on the bottom and cream filling on top.

We played bingo and got to win some cool prizes.
We got to hunt for our easter treat too.
Justin was there but I never took his picture.
Steve was sick so Laralynn took him home a plate of food to eat.

I am grateful we had a peaceful, fun and enjoyable day together.
