Jag and Ellee Barton - July 2008
1st Sister's Only Trip - July-August 2008
We had to take out Jan's to back seats to fit all of our luggage, bedding and food into the car.
We each packed like we were going for two weeks instead of four days. We thought of everything we might possibly need and brought it with us.
I am so grateful for this opportunity to go with my sisters. My thanks to Jan and Lisa for starting the planning process and for believing that we could go and that our Mom would
have wanted us to do it. If she were still alive she would have wanted one of us to take her. We grew a lot on this trip. We laughed, cried, slept and drove together. (Well, actually Jan drove and we rode).
A great big thanks to our families who held the forts down. Thanks for your patience when we took a wrong turn on Sunday and for waiting up for us. Another big thanks to Justin's Aunt and Uncle who provided us a "Cabin away from Home".
Love, Karalee
Ready, Set, GO...........Arizona Sister Trip - 2008
You would think we were going for two weeks
with all the luggage and food we were
taking with us for this four day trip.
"Our personal GPS Navigators - JOT & LOT"
We're along for the ride......Ultimate Passengers...
I moved back when Lisa tried to take my picture....
ok....Here's a better smile from me....
Lisa and I had the best seats on this trip...
We were the ultimate passengers... We didn't know
where we were most of the time but we just relaxed and
let the experts guide us to Arizona.......
August 1st - 5:00 AM - Arizona 2008
Where or where can the "U" shaped pole be?
Where or where can it be? It's in one of these trees....
There were quite a few trees in this area that it could be in.
I went in and went to sleep and Lisa, Jan and Laralynn
continued looking and finally found
the "T" shaped pole to turn on the water.....
Candid shots outside the Snowflake temple...
Karalee's photo shoot with the Goodman family
(Eventhough he didn't look at the camera)
Lisa took away my camera and made me pose with all of
the Goodman family so I could be in some of my pictures.
I didn't want to do it but I am very grateful now that
I am home and looking at the pictures from the wedding.
