Jan planned this fun treat making day at her house
early in December before mom passed away.

It was a really cold and snowy day. Brett and I had to dig ourselves out of our neighborhood but Laralynn and Steve who lived closer to the mountains couldn't get out of theirs.

We had a really fun day making all sorts of different treats.
The best part was taking a tray full of goodies home to enjoy over the holiday season.

Mom's House - 2008

Brett and I in front of mom's house....
Our old home....
Our cherry tree....
I took these pictures one sunday when we were down to clean out mom's house.
I am grateful that I did. We had lots of memories at mom's house.

Game night poster - 2008

I made these game night posters for our ward activity.
Jan helped me come up with the idea. They were fun
to make out of old game boards that we found at DI.

Easter Baskets - 2008

Hidden Easter basket - the kids walked right past it twice
Another hidden easter basket
Ellee found this one....
Jag finding his easter basket
Cool look what I got....
Tyler's was on the roof. I ran out of space on my memory cards
so I couldn't get pictures of anyone else finding their easter baskets. They got bubble wands in their baskets so they made big bubbles after everyone found their baskets.
One of my favorite traditions that mom did was hiding easter baskets even for the adults. We had to search all through the house to find our baskets. She was especially hard on Justin and Taun and would try to out due herself every year. I think mom learned this tradition from Grandma Hatfield because she would hide hollow chocolate bunnies and lambs for us to find each easter at her house. Lisa is carrying on this tradition for us.
